Advanced Project Management for Public Entities

NQF Level 6, 5 Credits towards the Diploma in Management

Planning, forecasting, project control, the modification of resources and project auditing, are essential parts of project management that enable people to understand what is needed to realise project goals and reduce uncertainty.

This 5 days course addresses the forces affecting project management in the public entity environment, project parameters, the project life cycle, the project manager’s role and the challenges facing project managers. Furthermore, it addresses the fundamentals of project planning – through the project value creation process; fundamental principles of project scheduling and how to estimate the resources required for project success.

A Competency certificate can be earned, subject to successful completion of the POE/ Assessment in the specified period stipulated at the event. If a participant chooses not to complete the assessment, he/she will receive a certificate of attendance only
