International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)/ Generally Recognised Accounting Practice (GRAP) and Governance (Online Training)

Intelligent Africa’s Online training uses different platforms to accommodate our clients technical requirements. These Platforms allows live training sessions with uploaded presentations, pre course questionnaires, screen sharing functionality, group work, allowing learners to collaborate during the session, and even records the training session to view later. Learners will have the opportunity to  start with their POE/ Assignments during the training sessions with guidance from the facilitator

Many governments say they are introducing IPSAS/GRAP because it is considered to be good practice. However , very few governments have actually adopted the standards and the implementation thereof differs from country and governmental institutions.  As a learning outcome the course envisage to consider the specific nationality and entities of the attendees in the practical adoption of IPSAS/ GRAP to their specific environment.

In terms of the Higher Education Act, all courses and programmes offered by Business Schools resort under the Council on Higher Education’s Quality Committee (CHE QC) for assessment and quality-assurance purposes. All courses offered by Southern Business School are registered through the prescribed higher education processes and are subject to internal quality assurance processes as far as moderation, assessment and accreditation are concerned. When short courses are aligned to modules of formal academic programmes of  Southern Business School, or SAQA Registered Unit standards, they are credit-bearing short courses. This status is also described in the Criterion Guideline document for Short Courses” from SAQA
